The Cornwall Handgun Club is a small pistol club located approximately 10 Km north of Cornwall, Ontario where target shooters can enjoy shooting any handgun calibre firearm. The gun clubs' 50 metre shooting range is located just north of Bonville, Ontario, which is approximately 60 minutes east of Ottawa and 75 minutes west of Montreal. The Club was formed in 1975 and is celebrating its 30th year of existence.

Its 107 members have year-round access to the covered (12 position) shoot house located on 43 acres of property, seven days a week from 9:00 A.M. to dusk. New members receive an introduction to the Club and a handgun safety training course.

If you, like most of our members, would like to simply come out and enjoy casual target practice on your own, you will find that you frequently have the shooting range all to yourself at our facility.

During the summer we designate Monday evenings as "bulls-eye night" and Wednesday evening as "Action shooting". Both evenings start at 6:30 pm. We promote several types of shooting activities on our range. This years planned activities include work parties, Family Fun days, 1- IPSC Club Level, 2 - Level II IPSC matches, an IPSC Black Badge course, a Police Practical Combat (PPC) course, a Free Pistol Match and an International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) course and match.

We hold one Annual General Meeting (AGM) and at least two General Meetings per year. The 8 person Board meets bi-monthly.

Our (pro-rated), annual membership costs are: Regular Membership - $100.00, Probationary - $150.00, Junior (proposed) - $20.00, Family - $150 and Associate - $80.

The Club hosted its first International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Black Badge course on August 21 and 22, 2004 followed by its first IPSC match on September 18, 2004. Currently, 18 of its members (1 Junior) are active IPSC Ontario - Black Badge qualified members.
