Match Dates

Pre - match - Aug. 1st (Officials and Sponsors)

Competitor sign in. - Aug. 1st - 7:00 PM - Days Inn

Competition dates - Aug 2nd through 5th

All competitors will shoot two days and work as range staff (patchers, ROs, general help, etc.) one day.

Shoot off - Aug. 6th - Top 16 in each division.

Banquet - Aug. 6th at 7:00 PM - Days Inn - Convention Centre

The format for the Nationals has always required at least a five day time commitment. It has been customary for competitors to be required as range help for both of their ""off"" days, although it is our intention to reduce this to one day. Your attendance will therefore be required in some capacity throughout the whole event, and as such we are will not be compiling squad lists at this time.

Around Mid May, a list of registered competitors will be posted behind the secure IPSC Canada website - you can check there for your registration.

General Information

Divisions recognized - Open, Standard, Production, Revolver

There will be an official ammunition supplier - so you can pre-order ammunition rather than fly with it and there will be a location published here for shipping ammunition. More information later.

Water will be supplied at all ranges. Food will be available in the form of pre-ordered "box lunches". Orders for lunch will be taken at registration for the first day and at the range for the consecutive days. More to come on this.

Match Hotel

The match hotel is the Days Inn, Kingston, Ontario and is conveniently located at Exit 617 of Hwy. 401 (Division Street).

It is less than 5 minutes from the Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club and 10 minutes from the downtown waterfront. The Days Inn Kingston, Hotel & Convention Centre is also just minutes away from all of Greater Kingston's leading attractions. Rooms have been set aside and are in the range of $ 104.00 per night up to quadruple occupancy.

Travel Information

Kingston is 2 ½ hours from Toronto and 1 ½ hours from Ottawa. Air Canada Regional flies directly to Kingston from Toronto 6 times a day. Westjet and Canjet fly to Ottawa.

Note that Air Canada is planning on discriminating against our sport and imposing a $65 per flight surcharge for you to fly with your guns. If you can, fly with someone else.
