Welcome to Summer Fun 2012. The match will be held at the Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club (FRPC) 22-24 June 2012. The club website is at http://www.frpc.ca/ and includes excellent directions to the club.

The match will consist of twelve stages and a minimum of 200 rounds.

Shooting Friday, 22 June 2012 will be for officials and match staff, while Saturday and Sunday, 22-26 June, will see sixty shooters per day compete.

The Match Fee is $120 and includes lunch and refreshments.

For those who require lodging, the match hotel is the Court Yard Marriott conveniently located at the Division St exit of the 401.

Please contact the hotel directly at 613-548-7000 or toll free at 888-281-1258 and request a room under the "Summer Fun 2012" group block. The rate is $124 and includes free wireless high speed internet access, hot breakfast, parking and access to the indoor pool and fitness room.

The idea for the match is to have fun and be safe on the longest days of the year.

Some of the proceeds from the match will again go to assist Sgt Scott Milne, a member of 2 Electronic Warfare Squadron who was rendered a paraplegic following a sports practice. While the good Sgt's basic needs are ably met by Veteran's Affairs he still requires assistance in modifying his home and in supporting his wife and three children. His is a worthy cause.
